Arnold matriculated at Kimberley Boys
High and attended the universities of the Orange Free State, Port
Elizabeth and Pretoria.
He taught for 16 years at the University of South Africa where he
held the position of professor
in Business Management and is currently
in private practice as a management
consultant. He has written several
books on the topic of Motivation,
Parenting
and Marriage,
and frequently addresses businessmen, teachers, parents and couples
on these subjects.
He and his wife, Joy, regularly present Family
Life seminars throughout South
Africa. They live in Pretoria and have three married children and
nine grandchildren. They are actively involved in their church
and frequently conduct Bible studies for church groups.
He is perhaps best known for his work on the motivation
of people in their work situation. Since 1978 he has conducted more
than 900 training courses
for managers in commerce, industry, and agriculture in every part
of South Africa. (as well as in America, Europe, Asia and other
African countries). The successes in this field have been the topic
of several television programmes as well as numerous magazine articles.

He committed his life to Jesus Christ
at the age of 17. From the outset he has been involved in christian
ministry. In 1965 he and Joy were members of the first Youth
for Christ Team to South America.
(That's where their romance started.) In 1968 he spent a year in
Argentina to help start the Youth for Christ ministry in that country.
He was a deacon and treasurer of the Bellville
Baptist Church and during that
time initiated and administered the construction of a new church
building. They came to Pretoria in 1976 where he soon became a deacon
at the Central Baptist Church.
During that time he initiated the start of a work in Waterkloof
and served on the steering committee until such time as it became
the Waterkloof Baptist Church.
He is currently an elder
in this church, but spends a great deal of time teaching at churches
in a variety of denominations.
He has written several books on
the topic of Motivation, Parenting
and Marriage, and he and Joy have
a country-wide ministry speaking to businessmen, teachers, parents
and couples on these subjects. They have three adult
children who are all actively involved in christian ministry.

Joy
Mol went to school in Zimbabwe, East London and
Bloemfontein, and then studied at the Teachers'
Training College in Bloemfontein. She is a schoolteacher
and has taught for a number of years. After that
she spent 24 years bringing up three children (and
one husband). She loves working with children and
for a number of years she led a Good News Club in
her home, and also initiated the commencement of
several such clubs in Pretoria, teaching and encouraging
mothers how to conduct such clubs in their homes.
Since 1978 she and Arnold have conducted more than
150 family life weekend seminars throughout Southern
Africa, as well as in Europe. She has co-authored
a book with him: "101 Ways to Steal Your Wife's
Heart".
She is a frequent speaker at women's forums dealing
with topics of marriage, parenting, relationships,
and spiritual enrichment.
For more than 25 years she has led a weekly Bible
Study for women, of different cultures and denominations
and spends a good deal of her time counselling women
on spiritual and family problems. She is currently teaching a Bible Study for International ladies, mainly from the embassies in Pretoria. She finds it exciting to know that women from 14 different countries have been reached through this Bible Study. Together with Arnold she has
participated in several TV programmes as well as
numerous radio programmes. She is an accomplished
musician and was part of a singing group, called
the " Shalom Singers". She is a pianist
and an organist in her church and also headed up
the Primary Department in the Sunday School for
many years.
She has three married children, Michael and Duane,
both medical doctors, and Colette who is a Licensed
Professional Counsellor in Texas. Joy is also a
'Grammy' of nine precious grandchildren, who are
the light
of her life. |
